Please join us in welcoming Kelly Miller Scott to the 'Nutrition & Eating' team. As an Registered Dietitian Nutritionist, she will share her knowledge and information. Along with regularly contributing articles, tips, and information, Kelly is is available for 1-on-1 consults and nutrition counseling.
Kelly Scott, Registered Dietitian Nutritionist, completed her undergraduate studies at the University of North Carolina at Asheville and obtained degrees in Health & Wellness and Psychology. She then went to Winthrop University for both her Master’s in Human Nutrition and dietetic internship. Her philosophy surrounding food is balance. She believes that all foods fit and encourages intuitive eating. She has experience in acute-care, long-term care, and a variety of outpatient settings, including ED treatment and weight management. Kelly mostly enjoys helping individuals foster positive relationships with food and forgoing common nutrition myths to achieve greater health.
